GOP Rep: Fighting With Nancy Pelosi Is Nothing Compared To Fights With 'Drug Dealers,' 'Murderers'

Rep. Tom Marino (R-Pa.) reflected on his recent confrontation with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), saying the challenge from a "visibly shaken" Pelosi was nothing compared with his past work.

"I was a state prosecutor and a U.S. attorney, and I've been threatened by drug dealers and organized crime and murderers, and this was a walk in the park," Marino said on Fox News Monday.

According to ABC, Pelosi confronted Marino during debate over the House's border funding bill on Friday. Marino told Fox Pelosi called him a liar and was "wagging her finger" through the discussion.

Marino said he was "a gentleman through this whole incident," though he did say he spoke up on behalf of his constituents.

"I'm a street fighter, and I'm not going to continue to have someone belittle and make statements that aren't true," Marino said.
