Soon after Graham secured a lucrative Wall Street job, the high-powered exec decided he wanted little do with the vast amount of money he was earning.
So, he decided to get involved in what he calls "reverse tithing" and give away 90 percent of his income.
One of the main recipients of Graham’s generosity is his dad, Gary, who has Parkinson’s disease, according to I Like Giving. The progressive neurological disorder will eventually severely impair his motor skills.
Before the disease starts to take a major toll on Gary’s quality of life, Graham is setting out to help his dad fulfill his bucket list.
The two traveled to Costa Rica, attended an NBA playoff game and trained for a marathon together. Graham’s also working on getting his dad the chance to meet actor Michael J. Fox who also has Parkinson’s.
Gary said the experience with his son has given him permission to "feel free to dream."
But perhaps the greatest item the two are checking off together is strengthening their once strained relationship.
"Thinking through Parkinson’s and what’s ahead," Graham said in the video, "just wanting to make the most of each day as well as not having any regrets with my relationship with him."
