This Traditional Korean Candy Cutter Makes 'Sweet' Music While She Works

Chances are you're familiar with the little ditty "Whistle While You Work" from the 1937 Disney movie "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs."

While we would never disparage the film classic, all we can say is that the "seven dwarfs" have got nothing on this traditional candy cutter out of South Korea.

The mesmerizing 2007 video (above) was posted by Victoria Nagy who writes:

"Can watching Candy cut be more interesting than watching paint dry? Yes, if it's done by a Korean lady on some sticky [pumpkin] candy. The sound and [rhythm] is enchanting."

We wholeheartedly agree with Nagy's assessment, and love the "sweet" music the unidentified candy cutter creates as she works. We'd take it over whistling any day!
