Florida is known for its public masturbators.
Yet public indecency suspects are always trying to up the ante on their cohorts. Daniel Lewis Davis, 21, is accused of parking in a residential area of Mary Esther and masturbating in the street before leaving, according to the Northwest Florida Daily News. He set himself apart from other accused Floridian miscreants, however, when he allegedly told police he was only looking for a new house.
Disturbingly, it was a 5-year-old girl who saw Davis committing his indecent acts, according to authorities.
Police responded to the scene Wednesday after a 5-year-old girl reported seeing "a naked man across the street." Davis had been allegedly masturbating, then ran back and forth in the road before he got back in his Ford F-150 pickup truck and fled.
A deputy in the area saw Davis' vehicle coming toward him, and the suspect wasn't wearing a shirt at the time. Davis admitted to being in the area where the little girl was, but said he was only house hunting, according to the New York Daily News.
Davis has two previous arrests for indecent exposure. This time around, he was charged with lewd and lascivious exhibition and intentionally exposing his genitals to a victim under 16 years old. He's scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 19.
