Big Fight Breaks Out After Former Lingerie Football League Game

The Lingerie Football League may have changed its name to the Legends Football League to gain credibility, but the extracurricular violence that sometimes gained the group mainstream coverage returned in a recent playoff game.

A nasty brawl broke out at the end of the Atlanta Steam's 20-14 home victory over the Jacksonville Breeze on Aug. 16. As the video above shows, punches, an apparent helmet bash and NSFW trash talk fueled this one. At one point even Atlanta's male coach, Dane Robinson, appeared to be on the receiving end of a blow thrown by Jacksonville's Adrian Purnell, the New York Daily News noted.

"Emotions boiled over," the league wrote in its YouTube description. You could say that again.

Atlanta (the team in black) will play the Chicago Bliss Sept. 6 in the championship game for the women's football league.
