We've all been there: You're having a conversation with a couple and you innocently ask them how they met. That's when things get weird: both parties freeze up and go all deer-in-the-headlights until one of them has the nerve to confess, "We met online." (Dun, dun, dun!)

There's really no need to be sheepish. As our friends at BuzzFeed suggest in the video above, meeting your significant other via the web is only weird because you're making it weird. Everyone and their mother are online dating these days. (Seriously. A recent study showed that one-third of married couples in the U.S. met online.)
