Nick Cannon has had enough with the rumors surrounding the fate of his relationship with wife Mariah Carey, and he's taken to Twitter to set the record straight.

The 33-year-old "America's Got Talent" host posted a series of tweets Wednesday evening, Sept. 3, slamming the media portrayal of his marriage and claiming some quotes attributed to him are fake.

Cannon wrote:

The tweet before last seemingly refers to his interview with Yahoo's The Insider host Chris Spencer last month, in which Cannon was quoted as saying: "There is trouble in paradise. We have been living in separate houses for a few months."

The father of two later tweeted about the season finale of his show, "Wild 'N Out." Mariah Carey hasn't addressed the rumors via her social media channels yet.
