Another witness to Michael Brown's shooting has come forward in an interview with the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

The witness, who spoke to the Post-Dispatch under the condition of anonymity, was working on a building in the neighborhood and wasn't from Ferguson. He told the Post-Dispatch that he could not tell whether or not there had been a struggle between Officer Darren Wilson and Brown, but that he saw Wilson chasing Brown and shooting him while Brown had his hands up.

Brown, a black teenager, was shot by Wilson, a white police officer, around noon on August 9th. Amid allegations of racial profiling and excessive force, the FBI has stepped in to assist local police on the investigation. The Department of Justice has also opened up a wider probe on police in the area.

So far, the key witness to the shooting has been Dorian Johnson, a friend of Brown's who was with him when he was shot. Johnson has said that Wilson started firing unprovoked, and that Brown was "shot like an animal."

Protests raged in Ferguson in the month since the shooting, though the size of the crowd and intensity of the protests have shrunk significantly over time.
