Caroline Manzo: Andy Cohen 'Looks At Me As More Of A Mother Figure'

Caroline Manzo Dishes On Her 'Unique Relationship' With Andy Cohen

She may have abandoned her "Real Housewives of New Jersey" post, but Caroline Manzo, star of Bravo's new show "Manzo'd With Children," has nothing but love for Real Housewives executive producer and Bravo host Andy Cohen.

"Andy and I have a unique relationship," the Manzo matriarch told HuffPost Live on Wednesday. "I think that he does look at me differently [than other housewives]."

She credits their dynamic to her stringent rules while shooting, which she thinks fostered a relationship in which he views her "as more of a mother figure than a housewife figure."

"There were certain rules that I had in filming ["Real Housewives Of New Jersey"] and that was: you never saw us in our bedroom, I would never wear a bikini — 'cause I have grown sons. I just don't do that. And I think that kind of separated me from the other ladies," she explained.

These days, Manzo makes a point of keeping conversation with Cohen upbeat, leaving the complaining to the other housewives.

"When I talk with Andy, I don't say 'my cellulite was showing,'" she said. "I talk about business, ask him how he is ... so it's not quite that intense."
