Tony Romo Escapes From J.J. Watt And Throws A 43-Yard Touchdown (VIDEO)

Tony Romo Pulls Off Incredible Escape And Throws Long TD

J.J. Watt had Tony Romo in his grasp. Then, he didn't.

Romo dropped back in the pocket late in the third quarter and had his back turned as the Houston Texans defensive end closed in on him. But Romo sensed Watt charging. Just as Watt put his hands on him, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback spun away from the 2012 Defensive Player of the Year and found wide receiver Terrence Williams in one-on-one coverage down the field. Romo launched a deep pass to the end zone and Williams made a leaping catch for a 43-yard touchdown.

The score gave the Cowboys a 10-7 lead. Romo added another touchdown pass in the fourth quarter, but the Texans rallied back and forced overtime. With Dallas' first possession of the extra session after Houston failed to score, Romo led the offense down the field to set up a game-winning field goal.

Romo completed 28 of 41 passes for 324 yards and two touchdowns as the Cowboys improved to 4-1.
