Idaho Couple Declares Their Hatred For Gays With Their Truck

LOOK: Couple Fighting Gay 'Cancer' With Their... Truck?

We certainly expected backlash surrounding the recent string of gay marriage rulings across the nation, but one Idaho couple's reaction seems to be a bit... we don't know, childish?

Despite the fact that gay marriage is now the law of the land in Idaho, Justin and Melanie Sease are proudly declaring their anti-gay beliefs through bold writing on their their large, camouflage truck. Donning shirts that read "land of the free" and "USA" one local news affiliate decided, for some reason, to make this couple's views their top story on that night's broadcast.

"We can never accept public homosexuality. It's wrong, and it's wrong in God's eyes first. He's very clear in the Bible," the couple states. "The Bible says that when homosexuality is publicly accepted, that basically it spreads like a cancer... we have a few homosexual extremists that cuss us out and get very angry with us and threaten us."

We're not entirely sure where this passage equating mainstream homosexual acceptance with cancer is actually located in the Bible, but this couple certainly seems to be sticking to their guns.

This hard-hitting news segment, titled "Fighting Back" according to Vocativ, comes after Idaho, one of the nation's most conservative states, began issuing same-sex marriage licenses last week.
