Elizabeth Peña Died From Alcohol Abuse

On Peña's death certificate, the Los Angeles County Coroner "cited cirrhosis of the liver due to alcohol, as well as cardiopulmonary arrest, cardiogenic shock and acute gastrointestinal bleeding," reports People magazine.

The 55-year-old "La Bamba" star died on Oct. 14 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
