Chuck Todd Is Not Looking Forward To The Next Time He Sees Obama

Chuck Todd is not too excited for the next time he comes face to face with President Barack Obama.

In an interview with TBS' Conan O'Brien Thursday night to promote his new book, The Stranger: Barack Obama in the White House, the "Meet the Press" host said sections of his writing might rub the president the wrong way.

"I am not looking forward to the next time I see him," Todd said, adding that he wanted to interview President Obama for the book, but his staff declined. "He may say, 'Hey, about that one thing you wrote about. You didn't take into account this, this, this and this. It can be an intimidating thing.'"

The New York Times seconded Todd's fears earlier this month in a review of the book.

"For his inaugural program this September as moderator of NBC’s 'Meet the Press,' Chuck Todd landed a big guest: Barack Obama," the review read. "If the president reads Mr. Todd’s new book 'The Stranger,' it’s hard to imagine him wanting to return to the program anytime soon."

Good luck, Chuck!
