Will Mama June Own Up To Her Decisions? (VIDEO)

June “Mama June” Shannon, one of the stars of the now-cancelled TLC show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, denies being romantically involved with convicted sex offender Mark McDaniel, who pleaded guilty to molesting Mama June’s oldest daughter, who recently came forward and confirmed that she was his victim. McDaniel was recently released from prison after serving a 10-year sentence for aggravated child molestation.

Dr. Phil tells her that the only thing worse than poor decision making is lying about it.

“I think people who are parents who have made mistakes are very forgiving, but I think if you make the mistake and then they feel like you blatantly lied to them about it, then they’re less forgiving,” Dr. Phil tells her in the video above. “I think people want you to be completely honest about what mistakes you have made so they can say, ‘Wow. She gets it.’”
