Those who believe everything they read on the Internet might have thought that St. Louis Rams safety Rodney McLeod killed Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders on the field on Sunday. During the third quarter of St. Louis' upset win, McLeod delivered a brutal hit to a defenseless Sanders trying to catch a deep pass and knocked him out of the game with a concussion.

McLeod was flagged for an unnecessary roughness penalty. But someone took the violent hit to another level, editing Sanders' Wikipedia page so it said the wide receiver died from the collision.

Sanders laughed off the edit and made sure his Twitter followers knew he was alive. He must go through the NFL's concussion protocol this week before playing again.
