Mom Sentenced For Disturbing Sex Crimes Against Toddler Son

A Wisconsin mom was sentenced to seven years in connection to pornographic films she made featuring her toddler son.

The seven-year sentence for Jessica Bell, 25, is only for possession of child pornography. She still faces 10 felony counts in Racine County for the actual acts against the boy, who was around 2 years old at the time the videos were made, according to the Journal Sentinel.

"This behavior is contrary to the laws of nature," Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Stephanie Rothstein said.

As the Journal Times reported in 2013 when she was first apprehended, Bell was arrested for allegedly "making the toddler perform sex acts on her, some of which involved sex toys, and reportedly filming videos of two such incidents."

The videos were discovered by Bell's boyfriend in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. He also found emails between Bell and her half-brother Justin Surber in which the two discussed "sexual topics involving the boy," according to the Sentinel.

"I want to tell my baby how sorry I am," Bell said at her sentencing.

The boy, who is now 4, lives with other relatives.
