Jon Stewart Accuses Fox News Of 'Racial Plagiarism' During Ferguson Coverage

Jon Stewart Accuses Fox News Of 'Racial Plagiarism'

Jon Stewart is back, and on Monday night's "Daily Show" he wasted no time going after Fox News for its coverage of the unrest in Ferguson, Mo., after a grand jury decided not to indict officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown.

According to Fox News, the unrest wasn't sparked by injustice and it had nothing to do with civil rights. Instead, the network blamed "racial arsonists."

"I think the racial arsonists in this country have worked these people up so much with propaganda that facts don't matter," Rudolph Giuliani, former mayor of New York City, said.

Fox News host Sean Hannity went even further, blaming President Barack Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder and MSNBC host Al Sharpton.

“Be honest, my friend: Are those the three people responsible or did you just name the only three black guys you could think of?” Stewart asked.

That's when Stewart turned it around on Fox News, playing a series of clips of its hosts engaging in some "racial arson" of their own.

"It almost makes you think that the crime that they're really upset about over there isn't race pimping or race arson," Stewart said. "It's race plagiarism."
