Jon Stewart Mocks Fox News Host Andrea Tantaros' 'Awesome' Rant On Torture Report

Forget all the bad news you heard this week about the C.I.A., because apparently "EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!"

On Wednesday night's "Daily Show," Senior Senate Intelligence Report Correspondent Hasan Minhaj declared the "Lego Movie" tune to be the national anthem, despite the release this week of the torture report.

Minhaj debated the awesomeness of the nation with host Jon Stewart after playing a clip of Fox News host Andrea Tantaros declaring that the country is "awesome" and the torture report only tries to ruin our awesomeness.

“The United States of America is awesome. We are awesome. But we’ve had this discussion. We’ve closed the book on it, and we stopped doing it," Tantaros said. "The reason they want the discussion is not to show how awesome we are. This administration wants to have this discussion to show us how we’re not awesome."

But Stewart isn't buying it.

"That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard," he said.
