This Man's Commute Takes Him From Minneapolis To NYC

This Man's Insane Commute Will Make You Appreciate Yours

Piling into a packed train or sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic to get to work every morning takes some real patience. But if you think you have the worst commute ever, think again. Ian Bearce most likely has you beat.

The super commuter joined HuffPost Live on Tuesday and discussed his intense travel routine, which takes him from Minneapolis to New York City on a weekly basis. After a 4:30 a.m. wake-up call, Bearce is out of the house and starting his journey by 5 a.m.

“I drive to the airport, park, take the airport shuttle, get to my gate about 10 minutes before we board, and usually go back to sleep for a portion of the flight and then take a train or bus to the office, sometimes both, depending on which airport I land at,” he said. “And get into the office around 12:30, just in time for a conference call, usually.”

Despite the tough commute, Bearce has no plans to move to the Big Apple anytime soon. The “amazing” quality of life and family support system he has in Minnesota makes it all worth it, he said.
