Honolulu Cop Seen On Video Slamming Man To The Ground

LOOK: Honolulu Cop Slams Man Into Ground

A Honolulu police officer was caught on cell phone video slamming a man to the ground in the Palolo Valley in an incident that could result in a lawsuit against the department.

The recording, which was obtained by Hawaii News Now, is just another example of possible officer wrongdoing caught on tape in recent months, including high-profile cases involving possible domestic violence and assaults on citizens.

According to the TV station, the officer in the latest video is Officer Siave Seti Jr., who has been with HPD for two years. He can be seen picking up Eric Musrasrik and throwing him onto the concrete. Seti then attempts to take the cell phone away from the person recording.

Musrasrik, 25, has since hired Honolulu attorney Myles Breiner to represent him in a possible lawsuit. Seti has been placed on desk duty and has had his gun taken away while HPD investigates.
