A California woman faces attempted murder charges after police said she stabbed her husband in the neck over some nude photos.
Jasmine Teltow, 21, of Dos Palos, got into a heated argument with her husband on Saturday after she discovered naked pictures of another woman on his mobile phone, according to the Merced Sun-Star.
The dispute escalated until Teltow, who has two young children with the 34-year-old victim, stabbed him in the neck with a kitchen knife, police said.
Police arrested Teltow on suspicion of attempted murder, and investigators may hit her with additional charges.
The husband's injuries were not life threatening. He was treated and released. The couple's children, ages 4 and 1, were ordered to be placed in the custody of Child Protective Services, but the boy's grandmother refused to turn over the 4-year-old.
Cops are searching for Noah Apodaca, 4, who is believed to be with his grandmother, Mary Saavedra.
Saavedra was told to return the boy to law enforcement but has refused. Saavedra is believed to be driving a brown 2002 Ford Explorer with license plate number 6CCV579. Anyone with information about the child's whereabouts is asked to contact Dos Palos police at (209) 392-2176.
Teltow was booked in John Latorraca Correctional Facility and held on $500,000 bail.
