6 Destinations You Should Visit In Ireland, As Recommended By The Actual Irish

Chances are, Dublin, Galway or even Cork immediately come to mind when considering places to visit in Ireland. And those places are undoubtedly lovely, but what about the other, more unknown spots around the Emerald Isle?

Based on travel data collected by our friends at, we were able to uncover the "secret" destinations that Irish tourists visit -- and others less so -- giving you the inside track to the "real" Ireland. The company pulled data from all of 2014 to show the top spots visited domestically by Irish tourists, and where they recommend others go, too. Check them out below.
