As Wilma Purvis prepared to disrobe and get photographed, she remembers thinking, "Oh my golly!"
Perhaps that's because Purvis is 94 years old. The nonagenarian is one of several women living in Ohio's Pleasant Pointe Assisted Living facility who posed nude for a $12 calendar benefitting the Magic City Kiwanis for the Esther Ryan Shoe Fund.
"We had so much fun doing it," Purvis told HuffPost Live on Monday.
Fellow calendar girl Regina Jeanette agreed and added that "it made all of us feel a little bit younger."
The calendar, which features the residents coyly covered by playing cards or a balance ball, raised spirits upon completion as well.
"This turned us into the young people, and it was just a marvelous thing to do and [to] raise money for such a wonderful fund," Jeanette said.
