Maybe it's time to lay off the coffee, America.
For an April Fools' Day prank, Jimmy Kimmel challenged viewers to take advantage of their paranoid friends and family by saying, "April Fools," after they took their first sip of coffee. Even though literally nothing was done to the drink, people were freaking out. Cups were knocked over, curse words were flying and just about everybody was losing their minds.
Kimmel's past pranks with Halloween candy have been sinister enough, but joking about someone's coffee proves nothing is sacred anymore -- at least not when it's this hilarious.
"Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC.
