Humans have left behind some pretty weird sh*t on the moon -- and, as you'll see in a fascinating new video from the online network Geobeats, that includes literal as well as metaphorical sh*t.

Who left all that stuff up there? We're not pointing any fingers, but only a dozen people have ever visited the moon. All were Apollo astronauts, of course, starting with Apollo 11's Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin back in 1969 and ending with Apollo 17's Gene Cernan in 1972.
Correction: An earlier version of this article listed Apollo 17 command module pilot Ronald Evans as having visited the moon. His name has been removed.
