Maybe he should stick to cliff-jumping in the offseason.

Maybe he should stick to cliff-jumping in the offseason.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady threw out the first pitch at the Boston Red Sox home opener Monday, bouncing the ball in the dirt. Boston's David Ortiz partially rescued the moment with a nice scoop save.

As SB Nation put it: "Tom Brady is basically the best person in the NFL at throwing things, but give him a baseball and he's just like any old joker off the street."

Despite the lame toss, perhaps the mojo of the Super Bowl-winning Brady rubbed off on the team: The Red Sox beat the Washington Nationals, 9-4.
