Colorado Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado made an over-the-shoulder grab of a foul pop and then spilled over the tarp and into the stands against the host San Francisco Giants Tuesday night. He nearly threw out an advancing base runner to boot.
Arenado's eighth-inning acrobatics came at a time when the Rockies were protecting a 3-0 lead with two Giants on base. Colorado eventually won, 4-1.
Arenado is a two-time Gold Glove winner. No need to wonder why.
