More than a dozen people were injured after the stage at Westfield High School in central Indiana collapsed during a student performance on Thursday night, authorities said.

Police said that at least twelve people were injured, one confirmed critical, WXIN reported. The IndyStar put the number of students injured as high as two dozen, but HuffPost had not been able to confirm that number. The identities of the victims had not been released. A supervisor with the Hamilton County emergency center said that there had been no fatalities, according to the Associated Press.

The incident was reported after 10 p.m. local time, RTV6 said. A video shows the floor giving way as a number of people danced onto the stage during a performance of the play "American Pie," according to WXIN. "It all just collapsed under them," a witness told WTHR. There was no one beneath the stage when it collapsed, according to the station.
