Bethenny Frankel Is 'Not Really Apologetic' About Her 'Bitchy' Image On 'The Real Housewives Of New York'

Bethenny Frankel Won't Apologize For Being 'Bitchy'

Bethenny Frankel is familiar with the reaction to her testy behavior on this season of "The Real Housewives of New York." She's seen the tweets, she's heard the outcry, and yet she's "not really very apologetic."

"I am back [on the show] and there's a lot of talk about me being back," she told HuffPost Live's Caitlyn Becker on Wednesday, "and for some reason, it's almost like I was a person who passed away where everybody only remembers the good about me, so people are saying, 'What happened?'"

But the reality star isn't concerned with remarks that she is "so bitchy now" or that she's "lashed out."

"I was always a little bitchy," the Skinnygirl mogul affirmed. "I haven't really changed that much!"

And that won't be changing anytime soon, as Frankel made it abundantly clear that she has no regrets whatsoever about her onscreen decorum.

"I stand by it, honestly. I really do," she insisted. "I can be harsh, and that's part of who I am ... but it is what it is. I'm excited to be back on the show. I'm not really very apologetic because I'm a good person. I have good friends. I'm having a great time, the ratings are up and I'm glad I came back."
