A woman in Waltham, Massachusetts, who was arrested for allegedly assaulting a cop, resisting arrest, and attempting to flee from custody, may have wanted to thumb her nose at officials.

Anna Piccioli, 26, was arrested May 7 after her friend, Erin Hoover, called police saying that the suspect had punched her several times, Wicked Local reports.

Police found Piccioli at a neighbor's house and decided she was too intoxicated to care for herself.

They took her into custody even as Piccioli allegedly argued she had just a sip of vodka.

On the way to the station, Piccioli kicked the doors of the car and the partition that divides the front from the rear, according to the police report.

Police said she laid on her back and kicked the roof of the car, all while shouting, "Police brutality," and "Wait until you see what my wrists are going to look like."

When the officers tried to take Piccioli to a cell, she allegedly broke away, and ran down the hall until a female officer tackled her, The Smoking Gun reports.

After Piccioli was charged, she posed for this memorable booking photo before being released on $200 bail.

She is due back in court July 8.
