Stephen Colbert recently announced that Jon Batiste would be his bandleader, and it sounds like the new member of the "Late Show" crew can't get to set soon enough.
In a new video, Colbert attempts to make a catchy theme song for his show. (And we're using the word "song" here very loosely.) Really, he just taps on the keyboard while coming up with a bunch of terrible rhymes about "Late Show."
Perhaps the best part is how his office is decorated. There's a copy of L. Ron Hubbard's Dianetics, a dog chilling on the floor and a big board that identifies some of the main show needs as a refreshing sandwich, a bolo tie and oxy.
(We're thinking he could mean OxiClean, though. He's looking a little disheveled after losing the Colbeard.)
"The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" premieres this September on CBS.
