Money doesn't buy happiness, and it apparently doesn't buy a thick skin, either.
On Wednesday night, Kylie Jenner turned to Snapchat and lamented about how she feels bullied by the entire world sometimes. The 17-year-old reality star grew up in front of our eyes on television, and says she's been bullied nearly half of her life:
"It's kind of crazy, I have four million people watch my Snapchats. Half of you guys think I'm weird, and the other half think I'm funny," a dazed-looking Jenner mumbled into her phone's camera. "But I've been bullied since I've been 9. From the whole world, it feels like sometimes and I think that I've done a really great job in handling all this."
But her late-night message wasn't just about all about her.
"There are bullies everywhere. So, this was just a little like Snapchat, to tell whoever with their own bullies, that the only opinion that ever really matters is yours and to never change," she said.
The teen went on to say that "this isn't a pity party though, don't get it twisted." Rather, Jenner explained she just wanted those with bullies to " know that you're not alone."
Over the past year, Jenner garnered much attention over whether her much fuller pout was courtesy of lip injections or some very impressive makeup skills, as she's repeatedly claimed. When the teen finally admitted to having received injections, she explained on her family's reality show, "I have temporary lip fillers, it's just an insecurity of mine and it's what I wanted to do. I'm just not ready to talk to reporters about my lips yet because everyone always picks us apart. I want to admit to the lips, but people are so quick to judge me on everything, so I might have tiptoed around the truth, but I didn't lie."
