Celebrities React To Charleston Church Shooting

Celebrities reacted in shock and horror after news broke about a mass shooting at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina, Wednesday night that left nine dead.

The shooting occurred around 9 p.m. at the historic black church. Six women and three men were killed, including Reverend Clementa Pinckney, a South Carolina state senator and a pastor at the church. The shooting has been labeled a hate crime by law enforcement. The suspect is a white male, between 21 and 25 years old, with a slender build. He is clean shaven with blond hair in a bowl-cut and was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans and Timberland boots.

Plane landed, turned on my phone, and my heart dropped to the floor. Charleston... This is an unbearable loss of lives and innocence.
