They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, and that phrase has never been more important than this exact second.

The "Game of Thrones" finale was bloody, shocking and left fans wondering one very big question: Is Jon Snow really dead? The actor Kit Harington, who plays Snow, says he's dead, the writers say he's dead and the Night's Watch obviously thinks he's dead. But, really, is he?

Before the finale aired, some images from the final episode leaked online. Three were actually legit, showing Cersei with short hair, Selyse hanging and Jon Snow dead. A fourth image, however, showed Snow's eyes change color to indicate he was warging in the final scene, i.e. possibly jumping into the body of his direwolf Ghost. Though it appears this was just a fan Photoshop job, some are arguing that his eyes did actually change.

Here's a look at the scene that's causing all the fuss:

Do you see Snow's eyes change? Well, redditors did.

Following the finale, Reddit has been lit up with fans saying Snow survived. One user, Lann_the_Clever1, thinks his eyes become a different shade of brown:

Am I the only one who noticed change in Jon's eyes when he was lying in the snow at the end. I think his dark eyes with large pupil changed to brownish, small pupil and then changed back after a few seconds. Could be warging into ghost?

Another redditor, stephen_b_1993, claims Snow's eyes become blue:

Did anyone else see Jon's eyes change from golden brown to blue, or am I just seeing things?

But not everyone is convinced. Redditor komacki says people are just "seeing things" and another user, TommenFoolery, says the eye change actually proves the opposite:

I did notice that when he is bleeding out that his pupils dilate. I only noticed this on a rewatch of the episode, which I had not noticed before. I think this is the nail in the coffin (pun very much intended) that John is dead. Once his heart has stopped he no longer controls the muscles in his eyes thereby causing them to dilate and enlarge.

If Snow does actually warg in the scene, it's not the traditional warging that we've seen on the show in the past. Normally, when a character is warging, their eyes become a milky white and they get all spacey. Well, Bran can show you what we mean:

Those white eyes are clearly not on display in Snow's final scene. Then again, there was that leaked picture. Could the scene have been cut short before the eye change?

The blood pool in the death scene actually extends further than the one in Jon Snow's supposedly fake warging picture, making it unlikely the scene was cut short, but, really, who knows?

Take one final look. Here's an earlier part of the scene:

So what do you think? Is Jon Snow still alive? Do his eyes change blue? Are they brown? Is the dress black and blue or gold and white? BLACK AND BLUE OR GOLD AND WHITE?

Your guess is as good as ours. Just don't ask Jon Snow. He doesn't know too much.

Stop it, Jon Snow. You're killing us! Just get out of here. You know nothing!
