Charleston Post And Courier Honors Shooting Victims With Moving Cover

As Charleston, South Carolina, mourns the innocent victims of the June 17 shooting at the Emanuel AME Church, the city's Post and Courier newspaper dedicated its entire front page on Sunday to the lives cut short in the tragedy.

The newspaper apologized last Thursday for a "deeply regrettable coincidence" when, the day after the shooting, some home delivery customers received a sticky note advertisement for a local gun shop on the front of their paper.

The Post and Courier's website was brought down for several hours Friday after an apparent DDoS attack, but it was not immediately clear who targeted the site.
