Jon Hamm Recalls Getting Fired From A WB Sitcom

Jon Hamm Remembers That Time He Was Fired From A WB Sitcom

Though these days he enjoys a hugely successful career, it wasn't so long ago that Jon Hamm faced the ultimate acting setback: getting fired from a mid-2000s WB sitcom.

On Tuesday, Hamm sat down with Lizzy Caplan (or, more precisely, crashed her interview) on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" to chat about their time on the short-lived "Related." Caplan, who now stars on Showtime's "Masters of Sex," was more than happy to point out that she and Hamm only had a few scenes together. After just one episode, one of the now-veteran actors was let go.

"Spoiler alert," said Hamm. "It wasn't Lizzy."

"He was the guy on a girl WB show and he still got fired," she teased. "That's not easy."
