Jake Gyllenhaal is either a terrible liar or his relationship with Taylor Swift was even faker than rumors suggested, because he claims he didn't know the singer had written a song about him.

The denial went down while Gyllenhaal was on "The Howard Stern Show" on Wednesday and Stern wanted to know his thoughts on how "Good Morning America" played Swift's "Bad Blood" behind his interview. The "Southpaw" star brushed off the morning show's successful bid to remind us that the two were linked, telling Stern, "There are dark things that happen on 'Good Morning America.' That is not one of them."

But then, Stern told the actor that Swift is pretty much the one that got away and Gyllenhaal should have married her. Stern's logic was that there's "nothing sexier than a woman who can play songs and write songs and all that," at which point his co-host Robin Quivers pointed out, "you have a song written about you."

"Do I? I don't know," the 34-year-old actor responded.

Fine Jake, be that way. Play dumb. We all know "All Too Well" is about you.

But if you want to keep pretending you don't know, that's your choice, Jake.
