There are some things you just can't learn from parenting books.

Making your own organic baby food, banning all electronics and never once going out in public in stained clothes -- these are just some of the unrealistic expectations parents-to-be have before they welcome their first child.

In a new video from Esther Anderson, the mom and her husband flash back to two years ago when she was pregnant with their baby. They make predictions about having an even-tempered baby who's great at sports, never throws temper tantrums and is fully potty trained at 6 months -- all juxtaposed with the reality of what it's actually like to raise a baby and toddler.

Clearly, there are some things you just can't learn from parenting books.
