Jessica Simpson isn't letting her bizarre appearance on the Home Shopping Network keep her down.
On Tuesday, the blond bombshell turned heads in a skin-tight brown mini-dress that hugged every curve, as she hit up some stores in Beverly Hills for some retail therapy.
Simpson also made headlines recently when she called her marriage to Nick Lachey, her biggest financial mistake, and said she'd have a "panic attack" if she had to watch the former couple's reality show, "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica."
Meanwhile, Simpson has yet to address last week's HSN appearance, in which she slurred her speech while giggling and teetering back and forth, causing speculation she was drunk while trying to sell her company's skinny jeans. But the network's president Bill Brand defended the 35-year-old to "Entertainment Tonight," dismissing the notion that she was intoxicated.
"Of course she wasn't drunk," he said. "She's a top-notch professional. She was here. She was thrilled to be here. I can tell you our team loved working with her."
He added, "I think what you have to take into account when you're on HSN it's very different than traditional television in the sense that it's not just a Q&A on a talk show, where you get a question and an answer. This is two hours live. It's a completely different beast.'
