Amber Heard Denies Split Rumors With Johnny Depp

The bisexual star also talked about fighting for equality.

Amber Heard is stunning as Marie Claire's cover star for its December issue. The 29-year-old actress modeled a variety of looks for the magazine, wearing a couple of tuxedo jackets and not much else.

Heard opened up to Marie Claire about her rumor-plagued relationship with husband Johnny Depp and clarified her stance on gay rights.

Heard and 52-year-old Depp are consistently the subject of celebrity gossip. Whether it's about their dogs, their marriage or the possibility of divorce, the couple makes for perfect tabloid fodder. Despite the rumors, Heard said she does her best to ignore all the talk.

"I try not to react to the horrible misrepresentation of our lives, but it is strange, and hard," the actress told Marie Claire.

Something that's easier to deal with? Being a stepmom to Depp's two children: 13-year-old Jack and 16-year-old Lily-Rose Depp.

"[It's] an honor and the greatest, most surprising gift I have ever received in my life ... I feel new flavors that I didn't know existed," said Heard about her new role.

Heard, who is generally candid when it comes to talking about her sexuality, also opened up about being bisexual.

"No matter what people want to label me as, I still fight for equality, and I think popular opinion will catch up," she said. "I think it already has, actually. I think our generation sees themselves as part of a larger global community, and therefore, it's harder to enact basic tribalistic prejudices based on ignorance and hate."

Be sure to read the rest of Heard's interview when the magazine hits newsstands Nov. 17.
