ESPN's Cris Carter Thinks 'Dabbing' Dance Is Called 'Bapping'

Carter seemed pretty confident that he had the right name for the dance.

There was a lot of hoopla about Cam Newton's touchdown dance against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, which featured a dance moved called "The Dab."

On Tuesday's episode of "Mike & Mike," Hall of Fame receiver Cris Carter tried to further explain the dance to the viewers and listeners who were not familiar with it.

The only problem? He absolutely butchered the name of the dance.

Come again, Cris? What was that?

Oh, Kendrick Lamar and Drake are doing it? Right! The bap! "Bap on them folks."

For what it's worth, Carter acknowledged that he got the name wrong on Twitter after the show.

At least he didn't think the dance originated from Clemson coach Dabo Swinney.
