This Week's Best Beauty Looks All Channel Princess Leia, Obviously

See, Leia does hold the force.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" opens today, and it looks like celebrities have turned to the film for beauty inspiration.

No, we're not talking Joseph Gordon-Levitt in full Yoda costume (though that was amazing), because Lupita Nyong'o, Sofia Vergara and Daisy Ridley were turning heads. Literally.

It's clear to see that the iconic "Star Wars" character Princess Leia -- who actually goes by General Leia now -- gave the ladies of Hollywood the force to rock buns to the film's premieres. The variety of buns and updos these ladies wore prove that buns are an accessible style for all different hair types.

Take a look at the celebs who made our best beauty list this week, and thank the galaxy gods for bringing Princess General Leia into our lives.

Tran's Leia adaptation complements her golden eye makeup, nude lip and overall glowing complexion. Try a similar bun style if you're in the middle of growing your hair out.

The 23-year-old star of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" dons a transformed version of the classic chignon. The slicked back 'do shows off Ridley's beautiful freckles and that peachy pout. See the different ways you can wear a simple chignon.

Yes, we know the first thing you're looking at is her metallic blue lipstick. But, the crossover of her pompadour and a twist actually makes us want to grab our bobby pins and do it ourselves. You can actually wear blue lipstick, here's proof.

Sure, mini-buns might look a little '90s, but this kitschy style definitely works for Menounos. This is a lesson that your hair can be the statement piece of an entire outfit, without much effort. Get inspired from other celebs who rock a good bun.

Of course Nyong'o makes a second apperance on this list, with her off-to-the-side updo. While that's great, her precise winged eyeliner and red lipstick add to the glamorous vibe. Perfect your eye lining skills with these Pinterest tutorials.

Vergara's hair looks the most like General Leia's and she pulls it off effortlessly. Instead of covering her ears, however, the buns give her beautiful earrings leeway to shine. Try a bun style that isn't as hard as it looks.
