This Crying Cavaliers Fan Is Every Cleveland Sports Fan

Let it out, kid. The entire city is with you.

The Cleveland Cavaliers really blew it last night. Up 84-71 entering the fourth quarter against the Houston Rockets, the team ended up losing the game anyway due in large part to the relentlessness of one James Harden.

It was yet another depressing moment in Cleveland sports history, one of many to jot down for the historians to look back on years from now. At times like this, there is no need to fight the tears, for sometimes the tears can say more than our words can, more than our eyes and our mouths can.

So it is with all the empathy in the world that we say this to the crying Cleveland Cavaliers fan who jut wanted to get a high-five in anyway after the loss since he had gotten such awesome seats: Let it out, buddy. It's OK. Your tears and your pain are both symbols of something greater in the city that surrounds you. Wins will come and go, but it is the losses that truly stay with you. So, cry, for the men who can't. Cry for the city that sits still. You are Cleveland sports, now and forever, and the city will always be there to pat you on the small of your back.
