The Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia, is the final resting place for over 400,000 veterans from around the world. But when service pilot Elaine Harmon -- who was one of the first women to fly military planes for the United States during World War II as part of the Women Air Force Service Pilots -- died last year, her ashes were denied burial at the national cemetery.
