Zendaya is responding to claims that her new cover photo for Wonderland magazine is in any way inappropriate.

The 19-year-old singer and actress posted a pic of the new shot, which shows the singer with one hand on her chest and the other between her legs. Many commenters and media outlets insinuated that the picture simulated masturbation, which -- if the teenager was going for that -- is a totally normal, enjoyable and healthy experience in the first place.

"I see what y'all saying by the hand placement lmao but that was not intentional you little pervs😂😂😂," Zendaya wrote in her caption.

Despite Zendaya denying that she was going for a specific hand placement, let's be clear that even if she was, that doesn't make the cover controversial in the first place. The "Replay" singer is an adult, and she can put her hands wherever she damn well pleases.
