The hacker definitely had a "go big or go home" mentality.

Katy Perry, the most followed person on Twitter, just fell victim to a hacker on the social media platform.

On Monday, the "Roar" singer's account was seemingly taken over by a hacker who came in like a dark horse and posted a slew of hateful and profane tweets that were quickly deleted. The hacker also tweeted to Taylor Swift, saying, "miss u baby," which surely surprised some fans -- the two have been known to have bad blood, after all.

Twitter user JonOnAString shared a screenshot of some of the offensive tweets:

One of the tweets, which read "haha follow @sw4ylol #hackersgonnahack," may have referenced the hacker's own account, which, if so, is based in Romania with over 1,400 followers.

The account, run by the user "sway," also reportedly tweeted a link to an unreleased song by Perry on SoundCloud, which was taken down by Universal Music Group due to copyright violations. The user then posted a takedown notice from the music sharing site, directed to a user named "slut," saying that the song "Witness 1.3" was removed.

Monday night, after the tweets were deleted, sway tweeted, "Who TF is Katy Perry."

Luckily, by Monday afternoon, the singer's account seemed to be back to normal. At around 3:30 p.m., Perry quoted a tweet by Hillary Clinton, showing her support for our troops.

Perry has yet to address the hack. The Huffington Post has reached out to a representative for comment and will update this post accordingly.
