How should one celebrate breaking the record for most Twitter followers? Sleepover? Waking up in Vegas? Setting fire to an effigy of Taylor Swift?

Katy Perry had all three options at her disposal on Friday, July 1, when Twitter announced she had broken a new record by having 90 million followers.

For reference, that's more followers than Kourtney, Khloe, Kylie, Kendall and Kris combined.

"It's party time, @katyperry! With 90 million on the guest list, we're gonna need a really big dance floor ," the official Twitter account posted alongside a photo of Perry and celebratory emojis.

"Dang this is tight," Perry responded with the smiling face with sunglasses emoji.

Later that night, the "Roar" singer revealed how she commemorated the occasion in peak Kathy Beth Terry fashion: a night alone with a nose pore cleaner strip.

"Every1 else havin a lit Friday night & I'm here examining the nose pore cleaner strip I just peeled off & I must say, nothing can top this," she tweeted.

Perry's first tweet ever dates all the way back to February 20, 2009, according to US Weekly, in which she labelled herself a "follower" for joining social media.

“Just got into Berlin... feeling better thank you, have my vicks inhaler by my bedside," she wrote. "P.S. I TWITTTTER! GAH. Such a follower!”

But if we had to choose our personal favorite Perry tweet, it would have to be the time she not-so-subtly read Taylor Swift to filth on Twitter after the "Bad Blood" singer ignited a Twitter feud with Nicki Minaj over supporting other women.

90 million plus one, girl!
