A UEFA Euro loss is a tough pill to swallow for hardcore soccer fans, but one little Portugal fan made it a whole lot sweeter.

A France supporter, clad in blue, red and white gear, was caught on video crying after France lost to Portugal 1-0 Sunday during the Euro 2016 final, which has been rife with tense clashes. But his tears stopped when he was approached by a young Portugal fan who offered him some words of encouragement and a hug.

The video was shared on the EuroNews Facebook page and has since been viewed 9 million times.
