Elizabeth Warren Blasts Donald Trump's '2-Bit Dictator' RNC Speech

"He is one dangerous man and we need to take him seriously."

Elizabeth Warren tore into Donald Trump over his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention.

The Democratic senator from Massachusetts, who’s no fan of the reality TV star-turned-GOP presidential candidate, didn’t hold back when asked about Trump’s address during “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Thursday night.

“I’ve got to tell you, that speech tonight, he sounded like some two-bit dictator of some country that you couldn’t find on a map,” Warren said. “He sounded like a dictator of a small country rather than a man who is running for the highest office of the strongest democracy on the face of this earth.”

Warren dubbed the 2016 RNC as “the nastiest, most divisive convention that we’ve seen in half a century,” and described Trump as a “dangerous man” who did not have the answers to people’s problems.

Editor’s note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S.
