Beer drinkers on Twitter have been expressing their disgust at America’s oldest brewery after the owner of Yuengling publicly endorsed Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on Monday. Some even pledged to boycott the company.

Richard “Dick” Yuengling Jr., the fifth-generation owner of the family business, welcomed Eric Trump to the Pottsville, Pennsylvania, brewery for a tour during a campaign stop on Monday, the Reading Eagle newspaper reports.

“My father’s going to make it a lot easier for business to function. We’re going to do it right here in the U.S.,” Trump’s second-oldest son said in a brief news conference.

In response, Yuengling voiced his — and his brewery’s ― support for the GOP nominee, saying, “Our guys are behind your father. We need him in there.”

Since then, many people have tweeted about their disdain for the endorsement:

Some went so far as to say they would outright boycott the company:

This isn’t the first time beer fans have considered forgoing Yuengling, a brand known as a decent, affordable brew. In 2007, union leaders claimed Yuengling threatened to close the brewery unless workers decertified the union. The brewery owner said workers voted to get rid of the union on their own accord. In 2013, Yuengling sparked another boycott when he called for Pennsylvania to pass “right to work” legislation, which would make it more difficult for unions to organize.

Editor’s note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S.
